The Music is HERE

Welcome to Where is the Music?, an interactive guide to finding your song and working with Music in order to synch up with yourself and your surroundings. My name is William and I am here to help integrate your true frequency back into the cosmos. As my Musical journey has been quite extensive, I have had the privilege of learning and sharing with people from all over the world. Until recently, I planned on building this website around a record and a show both aimed at proving that Music is the foundational building block of the world of form. Although the both are now in production, as time progressed, I realized that there was much more for me to share in regard to the practices and experience that I have along the way. Over the course of the last five years, I have been fortunate enough to give almost 10,000 rides as a ride-share driver for Lyft. When I first began back in 2018, Lyft was a means to make some money so that I could get back to Jamaica and finish Walking Music, a documentary that I had been working on intensively since the middle of 2013. At the time, all of the knowledge and practices that I will share with you here varied between sprouting seed and fully ripe fruit inside of my soul. Music had retuned me to my true frequency and I was having a difficult time integrating back into the world as a truer version of myself under its current conditions. I had all but lost my faith in humanity as a whole before beginning my adventure as a driver. Interacting with individuals in my car quickly changed that.

Getting a chance to converse with an incredibly diverse set of people immediately reconnected me with one of the few actual beliefs that I identify with: that people, outside of their community and family biases, are generally good and want the same things. On an individual level, people just want to know where their family’s necessities are coming from, an opportunity to expereince Joy, and for their existence to be acknowledge and respected by those around them. Lyft allowed me to have real and meaningful conversations with people from the entire spectrum of humanity. Many times, the conversation would become highly charged with positivity and mutual benefit. Although I do have some reservations about the business practices surrounding ride-share driving, I will freely and truly admit that it has been one of the most rewarding money makers that I have ever been a part of. In March of last year, after nearing the end of the pandemic's storm, I began to reform my career around recording Music creating a show. Over the course of the last year, the Music has had different plans. By March of this year, as I was getting ready to get back into the studio, the Music, plain and clearly, told me that I had other work to do first. Within the course of two weeks, the Music had brought multiple passengers into my car that were on cusp of finding themselves but were in need of a few finishing touches. Each of them asked me where they could find the Music. They wanted to be able to re-address our conversations and the topics that were discussed. They asked me to write my story. They asked me to help them find their Song. In March of 2023, I began building this platform. Thank you to all the people that have encouraged me to move forward. Much Love.

In conjunction with sharing my story, music and other content, I am also in the process of creating a guidebook designed to help you find your Song: the true frequency with which you were born. Your song is an integral part of the cosmos and the key to the power that you have brought with you to the life that you are living now. Finding my Song has been the most valuable and rewarding experience of my Life. Love is real and powerful. My Song is Love and the Music is with me. As I welcome you to this website, I am able to state one thing true and clear: My name is William and I am the Music.

whereisthemusic.org is growing at an organic pace and this is the first of many blogs that will come through the website. The blog is split into three categories: The Music, My Story, and Song Stories. The Music will contain posts such as this that are mostly relevant to the big picture. My Story will focus on the process that I have experienced as my song was re-tuned back to Earth and the Music. Finally, Song Stories will involve telling the true story of how each of the songs that I release here came to be.

While I am completing the initial content, I have made the first lesson of Where is the Music? A Practical Guide to Finding Your Voice: Breath + Sound = Song available to you for free. To this point, the entire project (book, website, music, show) has been funded though the love and support of my wife and kids, soul cash, and driving the Lyft car, which is also providing for all five of us.
